About Ylva Katarina Lindh
I am an artist and ceramicist based in Stockholm. With clay as my primary medium, I create sculptures, handcrafted tiles, and functional ceramics. The material's unique malleability, endless capacity for transformation, and receptiveness to color invite an intuitive and playful way of making. At the same time, its rich history and vast tradition continually inspire my practice.
There is something inherently poetic about working with clay through its intimate connection to the earth. The earth shapes us, and we shape it in return. I see making as a way of paying attention—a way of engaging with the world through curiosity, care, and imagination.
